Had 1 night in Oslo, spending my time here lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed the standard queen room with a double or queen bed, great design, as for instance.- Tea/coffee making equipment and fridges were provided.- This very nice old hotel had a super central setting to everything in Oslo.- It was also near train station, tourist locations and the waterfront, the Pride festival and the Royal Palace and Stortinget.

I was offered an exceptional breakfast with uncountable dishes of eggs, cheeses plus crackers. All of the staff members were amicable and efficient. The location was awesome, close to a project-based gallery. Plus, it was very close to train and the centre of Oslo.

It was ok, a bit old but a good value for money.
They charged my credit card two times for the same reservation, which added some more troubles to my life. Be careful on that!

The location is very good. The hotel/building is quite old but there was no problem about that since is renovated without destroying the traditional old look. The view was nice also. The breakfast was actually very good and environment was very cool as the variety like the panc cake maker....
Should establish better communication between the staff. We asked if we can get the same price of 125 euro and the woman in reception said that we could. We liked it and we asked the next day to stay one or two more and the reception said no, they wanted almost 40% more. I then booked elsewhere and when I payed he said that he contacted the manager and said that we could get it. It was too late. The room needed a bit cleaning, the beds were small.

The staff was extremely polite. The atmosphere was quiet. We enjoyed the convenience of the double room with tea and coffee. The location was good, with a boat dock and various restaurants and pubs located nearby.

The location of the hotel is superb as it is central to everything. Staff were very helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the choice of food was varied. It is self service so you can eat as much as you want. Because of the high prices in Oslo we were treating it like a brunch. The rooms were extremely clean The fact you could check out at 12pm is very convenient. Rooms are safe and secure and the hotel decor is attractive. I will definitely stay at the BWKJ again when I next visit Oslo.
I was staying in one of the inner facing rooms and the constant humming noise of the generator was very loud. I can imagine it would be difficult getting to sleep if going to bed early or not having had a drink beforehand.

Variety of food at the above average breakfast. Stunning location for our visit to Robot Vintage Clothing Store at a moderate distance from the hotel.

It is easy to find and is within easy walking distance of good public transportation. It is well situated as a starting point for sightseeing. It is reasonably priced in an expensive city and it offers good basic comfort.
Reception staff is not helpful. The receptionist did not know that the Flybus had changed its route a week earlier. And, after she verified that the bus route had changed, she told us the wrong new bus stop. The rooms are a bit noisy.

I really enjoyed how my standard queen room was set up. It had great beds and a delicious breakfast.- The staff were caring.- It had a magnificent and unbeatable location so close to restaurants, shops, a lovely park, the water, and all sorts of public transportation.- Located at Karl Johan Gate, the main street.

It is an old hotel, very stuffy and noisy on the streetside. The breakfast was good and the hotel was clean. The lobby personnel was friendly but not forthcoming with extra information. The free wifi was not explained well and when I asked if I needed a password, they said, read the brochure. I did need one after all. This could be handled immediately at check-in. A bit of a bother it was, actually. Otherwise O.K. Some form of air conditioning would be welcoming.
